Rock Creek, WA – Headwaters – First D

Rock Creek has been known for years as a great class IV run and more recently as the park and huck location of the ever changing Money Drop. Last year Jacob Cruser started unlocking the access secrets of the headwaters and discovered and un-run section of river that was so deep and mysterious it took a long time and a lot of effort just to get to water level. Here is the first glimpses of the inner canyons. Click HERE for the Video.

Habitat Film

Habitat – A documentary by Ryan Scot and Hans Hoomans – Sponsored by Canoe & Kayak

35 years of the progression of whitewater rafting in the Pacific Northwest. This documentary takes you through the late 70′s and early 80′s with Shane Turnbull during his early years with commercial rafting and into the private boating scene. Pushing forward into the 90′s with John Hall and AAA Rafting on the White Salmon River and David Sacquety’s private boating exploits. In 2008 the raft racing events spawned a new rush in the whitewater world. From 2008 to 2011 rafters in the Pacific Northwest ventured beyond the guidebooks and explored uncharted territory for rafts.

This is guaranteed to be a whitewater film like you have never seen before! Video release set for May 5th, 2012

Tshletshy Creek, WA

Published by under Video

Over a long 4th of July weekend Brett Barton and I drove up to the N.F. of the Quinault River, and started hiking up to Three Lakes and into the Tshletshy Creek basin for an unforgettable trip down the pristine gorges. Eventually we paddled into the Queets River, taking out at the Sam’s River confluence.

Bridal Veil – R-1

The weather in the gorge the past few weeks has been inconsistent to say the least. Sunny and above freezing in the high elevations and cold and frozen down around sea-level. Dan McCain picked a good day between the cold weather to get on Lower Bridal Veil Falls. Try and try again, Dan could not convince anyone there to jump in the raft with him. However, that did not stop his ambition.
