Wish we had more week ends like those, they’re great fun and everybody enjoyed the day.

We took some time on the river for a cool lunch in the gorges and finished the descent in the afternoon.

Rain season definitely started out here and most rivers are runnable, despite access and pull out issues.

Philippe Giors and Sylvain Lelong had a good session in Itasy area, just after their Betsileo trip and truly enjoyed both Lilly and Mazy rivers.

Rains finally arrived in abundance and even the smallest streams are pouring tons of water in the rivers.
Rafting season started on the Lilly and here are a few cool shots of the river in action over the past few weeks.

What a great occasion to post my season’s greetings.
Next ones should be more aquatic but it’s that night when 2 brits from Cornwall landed on our climber’s camp on nosy hara archepelago, north west off madagascar.
They just popprd out from the horizon coming from Majunga 500 kms south of us. They were going for a circumnavigation of Mada.
